Kielty on DL

The PawSox this afternoon announced that OF Bobby Kielty has been placed on the 7 day disabled list with soreness in his left hand. OF Bryan Pritz has been activated off the DL to replace Kielty on the roster.

Kielty has had pain in the hand since the PawSox returned from their 8-game road trip. The organization sought the opinion of two doctors and the decision was made to place him on the DL retroactive to yesterday.

Pritz spent most of 2007 with Portland where he batted .292 with 7 homers and 47 RBI's.
