Game 15- PawSox vs Indians, April 17, 2008

The PawSox look to make it two in a row on the road as the take on the Indianapolis Indians again tonight. The PawSox send Michael Tejera (0-1, 4.50) to the mound, opposed by John Van Benschoten (2-0, 2.92) for the Indians.

Here's a preview...

Pawtucket Red Sox (8-6)

The PawSox enter the game in second place in the IL North Division, 2 games behind the Scranton Wilkes/Barre Yankees. Over the course of this current road trip, the PawSox are 2-4, but are coming off a 4-3 11 inning win over the Indians yesterday afternoon.

Tejera has had two uneventful starts for Pawtucket. He pitched well in his last outing, giving up only two runs over 5 1/3 innings. Unfortunately he took the decision in the PawSox 3-1 loss in Louisville.

C/DH George Kottaras has had a productive road trip. He is in the midst of a 5 game hitting streak, batting .381 with 3 doubles, 3 home runs, and 7 RBI. He is tied for second in the league in homers (4) and RBIs (12)

Indianapolis Indians (10-4)

The Indians enter the game in a tie for first in the IL West with the Louisville Bats. Their 10-4 record is tied for best in the league (Louisville, Scranton Wilkes/Barre, Richmond)

Van Benschoten hopes to duplicate the success of his first two performances of the season, victories over Syracuse and Norfolk.
