Columbus catcher Jesus Flores belted a homer and drove in three as the Clippers have now won three straight, taking care of the Durham Bulls 7-2. BOX

The Scranton Wilkes/Barre Yankees continue to hold a 2 game lead over the PawSox in the IL North after yesterday's 4-2 win over the Charlotte Knights. Yanks' 1B Juan Miranda had a homer and drove in 2 for the victors. BOX

Barbaro Canizares belted a solo homer in the top of the ninth to lift the Richmond Braves over the Rochester Red Wings 5-4. BOX

Jay Bruce went 3 for 3 (HR, 2RBI) and Jerry Hairston drove in three (2 for 4, HR, .429 BA) as the Louisville Bats have now won 8 of their last 10, 6-4 over Norfolk. BOX
