PawSox/Bisons Headed to Extra Innings

The PawSox and Bisons are deadlocked at 5-5 as they head into extra innings at McCoy.

The PawSox scored three times in the bottom of the eighth to take a 5-4 lead. The rally was capped by a two run single by Jonathan Van Every. The Bisons' tied it in the top of the ninth as Aaron Herr belted his second homer of the game, on the first pitch he saw from PawSox reliever Lee Gronkiewicz. It was the first earned run given up by Gronkiewicz this season.

Lincoln Holzkom is in to pitch for Pawtucket to begin the tenth.
