PawSox Take the Lead After Two 2-0

The PawSox got off to a hot start today at McCoy. They scored two runs in the bottom of the first inning to take a 2-0 lead over the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs.

After Gil Velazquez led off with a strikeout, George Kottaras laced a double down the right field line. Jed Lowrie followed up with a double of his own, over the head of right fielder Valentine Pascucci, scoring Kottars. After Chris Carter grounded out to first, Brandon Moss drove in Lowrie with a single to center.
