PawSox Lose Finale 5-4

The PawSox dug themselves a hole early and their ninth inning rally came up short as they fell to the Indianapolis Indians 5-4 in the finale of their series this afternoon at McCoy.

Davern Hansack was not sharp in his 2008 debut, giving up four runs in four innings to earn the loss. The Indians were paced by 2B Luis Ordaz who went 2 for 4 with a homer and three RBI.

Offensively for Pawtucket, Chris Carter has now hit safely in all four of the PawSox' games, tagging a double in the third. Brando Moss is also hot to start the season, driving in two of the PawSox' four runs.

Pawtucket begins a four game home series against the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs beginning tomorrow night at 6:15pm. Red Sox reliever Mike Timlin will make the start as part of his rehab assignment with the PawSox.
