PawSox Lead 1-0 After Two

The PawSox lead the Iron Pigs, 1-0 after 2 innings this afternoon at McCoy.

The PawSox got their run in the bottom of the second when Chris Carter led off with a double to left. Brando Moss and Bobby Kietly walked to load the bases with no outs. After a Jeff Bailey strikeout, Dusty Brown drove in Carter with a sacrifice fly to right. The throw to the plate was cut off and Moss was caught off third to end the inning.

Starter Chris Smith, getting a spot start for the injured Bartolo Colon, has given up two hits, struck out three, walked two, and has thrown 48 pitches.
