Indians/PawSox Pre-Game

We're here at McCoy and Bartolo Colon has joined the PawSox. According to Manager Ron Johnson he expects Colon to pitch a maximum of 5 innings or 75 pitches. He also says he is not putting any big expectations on Colon's start.

"We're just looking at him to make his progression and keep going up" Johnson said. "Then we'll evaluate it." Johnson also expects that Colon will be ready for another start in five days.

When it comes to Brandon Moss taking reps at first base, Johnson says he wants to take it one step at a time.

"The one thing I want to stress with Brabdon is to relax, go out, and don't stress over anything." he said. "Everyday is another learning experience for him."

Johnson says that Bobby Kielty will not be part of an outfield rotation.

"He's our starting right fielder. We'll move guys around because I think that's good. I think everybody knows Bobby Kielty is a value to a Major League team. I'm really excited to have him. It's a good situation to have"
