Game 13- PawSox vs, Indians, April 15th, 2008

The PawSox head to Indianapolis tonight (7:00PM) to begin a four-game series with the Indians. David Pauley (1-0, 0.96 ERA) takes the mound for Pawtucket. He'll be opposed by the Indians' Ty Taubenheim (0-2, 15.88 ERA)

Here are some pre-game notes of note...

Pawtucket Red Sox (7-5)

The PawSox were able to salvage only one game of the recently completed four-game set in Louisville versus the Bats. They are 1-3 so far on this road trip.

Pauley has had two impressive starts so far in 2008, giving up only one earned run over 9 1/3 innings of work. Overall the PawSox pitching staff has given up three runs or less in 9 of their 12 games. They are currently fifth in the league with a team ERA of 3.06.

C/DH George Kottaras is coming off a big game last night in Louisville. He looks build upon his two homer, five RBI performance again tonight.

In player moves today the PawSox officially added RHP Kyle Snyder to the roster. They placed Davern Hansack on the 7 day DL with a right forearm contusion, suffered during his last start at Louisville.

Indianapolis Indians (9-3)

Since losing their opening two games in Pawtucket to start the season, the Indians have been on a tear, winning nine of ten, including the last four over the Norfolk Tides.

The Indians send Ty Taubenheim to the mound. Taubenheim has struggled in his first two starts of the year and looks to rebound tonight.
