The debut of Bartolo Colon looks to have been a resounding success. Colon has reached his five inning limit. With one out he gave up his first walk of the game, to Adam Boeve. Boeve stole second and advanced to third after a high throw by George Kottaras.. Colon then struck out Neil Walker and Kevin Thompson to retire the side. His final pitch was clocked at 95 mph.
His line.... 5IP, O runs, 1 hit, 5 strikeouts, one walk, 74 pitches, 29 balls, 45 strikes.
Unless there's some breaking news, I'll be back with the game wrap.
