After two innings at McCoy, the Buffalo Bisons lead the PawSox 3-0.
The Bisons scored all their runs in the top of the second. 1B Jordan Brown led off with a double to right. Following a Ryan Mulhern strikeout, 3B Andy Gonzalez walked. Gonzalez was erased as Brad Snyder reached on a fielder’s choice. Aaron Herr then cleared the bases with a deep homer to left. Herr is the son of former Major Leaguer Tom Herr.
The PawSox threatened in the bottom of the second. Chris Carter walked and Keith Ginter singled to start the inning. Buffalo starter Jeremy Sowers then settled down, striking out Jeff Bailey and Dusty Brown, then forcing Gil Velazquez to ground out to retire the side.
PawSox starter Kyle Snyder, making his first start of the season, has been shaky through two. He is expected to throw no more than 55 pitches in today's outing.
