The Yankees scored their second run in the fifth. With two outs Shelley Duncan reached on a single and stole second. He scored one batter later on an RBI single by Ben Broussard.
The PawSox tied the game in the bottom of the sixth on a two-run single by Keith Ginter.
Both starting pitchers are through for the night. Davern Hansack gave up both Scranton runs in his 5 2/3 innings of work.
Phil Hughes gave up only three hits in his 5 1/3 innings on the mound. He was charged with surrendering the two PawSox runs.
