We all know that the Pawtucket Red Sox run a professional organization. They apparently run a profitable one as well.
In the latest edition of Forbes Magazine, reporter Michael Ozanian reports on the financial success of Minor League clubs. He also ranks the top 20 most valuable baseball teams. And guess which team comes in at #16? Yes...the PawSox.
Ozanian says the PawSox are valued at $19.4 million with revenue of $7.1 million. He mentions that the new McCoy opened in 1996. In fact the renovations were completed for the 1999 season.
