The Charlotte Knights lead the PawSox, 3-2 after four innings at McCoy.
The Knights got to PawSox' starter Cahrlie Zink for three runs in the third on an RBI ground out by Jason Bourgeois and a two-run homer by Brad Eldred.
Pawtucket got their runs in the bottom of the third on a two-run homer to right by George Kottaras, his 21st of the season.
