Former PawSox catcher Corky Miller went 3 for 3 with a homer to lead the Richmond Braves to a 6-1 win over the Toledo Mud Hens. The win officially eliminated the Hens from playoff contention. BOX

The Scranton/Wilkes Barre Yankees got a strong pitching performance from Chase Wright in shutting out the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs, 4-0. BOX

Cory Castro had two hits, including a grand slam, as the Louisville Bats beat the Columbus Clippers 8-6. BOX

Syracuse starter Brent Cecil threw seven innings of no-hit ball, and the Chiefs bullpen gave up the lead, but Syracuse won in the bottom of the ninth over the Buffalo Bisons 5-4. BOX

Luis Cruz went 3 for 5 with a homer and three RBI's as the Indianapolis Indians beat the Durham Bulls 6-3. BOX

Brad Eldred blasted his 35th home run on the season, and he also drove in four runs, in the Charlotte Knights' 9-5 win over the Norfolk Tides. BOX
