The Scranton/Wilkes Barre Yankees have now won 8 in a row, and trail the PawSox by only 2 1/2 games in the IL North after their 7-2 win over the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs. BOX

Chris Richard had a homer and drove in three runs as the Durham Bulls shut out the Syracuse Chiefs, 4-0. BOX

The Rochester Red Wings tallied two runs in the bottom of the ninth to over take the Norfolk Tides 7-6. BOX
