PawSox Extend Their Lead to 7-0 Over Buffalo After Six

The PawSox have upped their lead over the Buffalo Bisons, to 7-0, after six full innings.

Pawtucket added a pair of runs in the bottom of the fifth on a Jed Lowrie double and a two-run homer by Chris Carter.

The seventh run came in the bottom of the sixth on an RBI single by Joe Thurston.

With the double Lowrie has now hit in nine straight games.

PawSox starter Charlie Zink has breezed, allowing only rwo hits through six innings. He has retired the last seven Buffalo batters.
