Game Wraps, June 4, 2008

Here is a round-up of the action from across the International League last night...

Mike Costanzo went 3 for 4, including a homer and 3 RBI's as the Norfolk Tides banged out 16 hits in their 5-4 win over the Scranton/Wilkes Barre Yankees. It was SWB's second consecutive loss. BOX

The Syracuse Chiefs find themselves only 1/2 game behind Scranton in the IL North Division after their 8-6 win over the Columbus Clippers. BOX

Five Richmond Braves had at least two hits each in their 8-1 thrashing of the Durham Bulls. BOX

The Indianapolis Indians scored two runs in the bottom of the eighth to over take the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs, 4-3. BOX

The Buffalo Bisons scored six runs in the bottom of the ninth and two more in the bottom of the tenth to come from behind and beat the Rochester Red Wings, 8-7. BOX

The Louisville Bats scored five runs over the first two innings and held on to beat the Toledo Mud Hens, 8-5. Mike Hessman did hit his league leading 21st homer in a losing cause for the Mud Hens. BOX
