The Syracuse Chiefs are in the mix in the IL North, scoring three runs in the eighth to beat the Norfolk Tides, 4-3. BOX

Joel Guzman hit another home run and drove in two as the Durham Bulls topped the Richmond Braves, 6-1. BOX

Ray Olmedo had three hits and Ed Rogers and Kory Castro each homered and drove in a pair as the Columbus Clippers handled the Buffalo Bisons, 5-1. BOX

Josh Fields belted a solo homer in the top of the tenth as the Charlotte Knights edged the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs, 3-2. BOX

Andy Green hit his first two homers of the season and drove in three runs as the Louisville Bats pounded out 15 hits in their 10-4 thumping of the Toledo Mud Hens. BOX
