Game 35- Bulls vs. PawSox, May 8, 2008

The Pawtucket Red Sox are looking for a split of their four game series with the Durham Bulls as they play the finale this afternoon (12:05pm, weather permitting) at McCoy. LHP Mike Prochaska (1-2, 9.00) pitches for Durham and RHP David Pauley (2-2, 3.70) goes for Pawtucket.

Briefly, here's a preview...

Durham Bulls (14-18)

The Bulls relied on their pitching to take the first two games of the series. It was that same staff that surrendered 12 runs to the PawSox last night.

Prochaska makes his fifth start of the season. He did not fare well in his last start against the Scranton Wilkes/Barre Yankees. He lasted only three innings, giving up three runs on seven hits to take the loss.

Pawtucket Red Sox (18-16)

Pauley is also coming off a disappointing performance in Pawtucket's 8-5 loss to Syracuse last Saturday. Pauley gave up seven earned runs in four innings of work.
