The PawSox put up the first runs of the 2008 seaosn in the bottom of the third. DH Jeff Bailey led off with a single to left. Then newcomer Jonathan Van Every launched an opposite field homer to left to give Pawtucket a 2-0 lead.
After two outs, the PawSox struck for more. After Jed Lowrie walked, Cris Carter belted a single to right, sending Lowrie to third. Brandon Moss then followed with a double down the first base line to make it 3-0.
Colon comes back out for the fourth...with a lead...
