The PawSox wrap up their series with the Iron Pigs and their first home stand of 2008 with a 12:05 matinee at McCoy. Lehigh Valley, still looking for its first win of the season, will send LHP Briane Mazone (0-1, 6.43 ERA) to the hill. He will be opposed by PawSox RHP David Pauley (1-0, 0.00ERA). I'm at the game today so expect periodic updates. Here are some pre-game tidbits of note...

As you can see, Manager Ron Johnson is moving people around for this afternoon contest, with Lowrie moving to third, Ginter to second, and Gil Velazquez getting the start at short. Johnson said he would like the club to get off to a fast start and create momentum against he 0-7 Iron Pigs.
Pauley hopes to duplicate his impressive opening start of last week against Indianapolis. He threw five innings, giving up one run (un-earned) on two hits. He struck out three and did not walk a batter.
The PawSox bullpen has been impressive through seven games. Of the seven regulars in the pen, five have yet to give up an earned run this year. Lee Gronkiewicz has picked three saves in the team's first five wins.
Chris Carter extended his season-opening hitting streak to seven with a single last night.
